All we needed was a place to sleep that was near a train line and inexpensive. Motel 6 Braintree was that and more. The room was clean, bright, basic but modern. I'd definitely recommend it and will stay there again.

Close to the street and noisy. Without hair dryer and coffee machine . Small bathroom. Good location, walk 2 min to braintree train station and 7 min to shopping plaza and resturants. Very friendly employees.

Motel 6 worked out to be great for us. We wanted to enjoy the history of Boston and Braintree without the agrevation of having to drive. The "t" which took us right downtown Boston was located about a 10 min. Walk. It ran every 1/2 hr.at least. We enjoyed having a couple of nice dinners just a 20 min. Walk from the hotel. Our goal was to find a room that wasn't very expensive. We were only going to be there to get a good night sleep, have a shower and maybe watch a bit of T.V. We were up and gone first thing in the morning. Our room met our needs for 3 nights.. Loved our visit to the area. Especially the New England Aquarium ..
We told our family that we would be in touch by E-Mail. For some reason we were unable to connect. It wasn't a problem when we went to Cape Cod.

1. Very close to T(subway), only need 5 minutes, the end station of red line; 2. price is cheap, price of downtown hotel generally consume more than U.S. 150 dollars; 3. the room is clear;

It was close to the Metro or Transit system and the room had lots of room.
Even though we were close to Boston Transit, it was difficult pulling our suitcases through an intersection that had no cross walks. We did not arrive in a car (which would have solved that problem). We came via public transit and thereby the problems. We also had to pay for internet.

I loved the price and the location was perfect for my trip. The room was very clean and it was a perfect size and the staff was very friendly.
The water for the shower was very cold and would not warm up. And we felt rushed to leave towards check out time

Locally, this hotel has a bad reputation. However, I found it to be clean, comfortable and very affordable. The new management has worked very hard to get rid of the partiers and shady types that used to stay at the hotel. They are strict about checking ID's and removing noisy party goers immediately. The rooms are remodeled and clean, albeit basic (no microwave, or fridge). The cleaning staff are thorough and friendly. Management moves immediately to take care of any problems. The location is right across from the T station, very, very convenient. I just wish they would put a cross walk in. But, the hotel can't be held responsible for that. All in all, basic, affordable, no frills stay. But, clean and safe and pleasant.

The room was very clean and very comfortable. I have not had a bad stay at this hotel.
The main thing I did notice was my towels were very scratchy and I did notice a musty-type smell to them. Otherwise, everything was just fine.

Location. Very clost to train/subway station
WiFi was a joke. Too slow or not working at all. However, I must say that they refunded the amount paid.

Check out lady. She gave us a refund of the half room price without discussions, cause of the trouble see below.
The guy at check in was unfriendly. The room was dirty: long hairs in the bathtub, water standing in the sink and didn´t go away, the batheroom door was broken.
